One of the sexiest things a woman can wear is a tailored suit. It screams “I’m a boss and I look damn good too.”
My favorite show of all time is Girlfriends. Joan, the character played by Tracee Ellis Ross is a lawyer who works at a prestigeous lawfirm in LA. Joan would often be shown wearing a suit, not just any old frumpy suit but a sexy, high fashion, attention grabbing suit!
Joan’s suit game made me wanna be a lawyer! lol
But the way Joan was able to exude high fashion while wearing a 2 piece suit taught me that suits don’t have to be boring!
Since I don’t work in corporate America, I don’t have to worry about maintaining an “office appropriate” look.
I chose to wear a white blazer with cut-out detailing in the back (I love back details) and no blouse underneath. I paired the blazer with a white high-slit skirt with buckle detailing on the front. I kept it simple with a pair of grayish beige-ish colored pointy-toed pumps.
But, If I did work in an office, I would wear a white turtleneck underneath the blazer and switch out the skirt for a plain white pencil skirt.
It’s ok to be cute, but don’t get fired.
