Sequins for NYE? Groundbreaking.

I know the holiday season is the time of year everyone likes to shine bright like a diamond. It’s almost as if sequins is synonymous with Christmas/NYE

For me, I love wearing sequins to mark the new year because it represents confidence.

Think about it, you’re allowing yourself to shine (which captures attention) all while being unapologetic of your shine.

One of my goals this year is to refrain from dimming my own light.

I’ve spent so much time trying to hide and shrink myself out of fear of being judged or misunderstood or even “dragged.”

I’ve been so afraid of myself and what others thought of me.

Six months ago, I embarked on a journey of transformation/self love and this outfit is a physical representation of my glow up.

I hope you all have a blessed 2018.
